TL;DR

Imagine an empty bank with accounts, credit cards, loan-matching programs, and everything else needed to operate.

Our task was to find a meaningful use case for the technology.

We created a healthcare financial management platform designed to help people better manage medical costs and access care.

BANXX… BANKS?

Background

Banxx is a platform offering bank accounts and a marketplace of financial products ranging from loans to credit cards.

It's not a bank, but a white-label template that enables any company to launch its own branded banking experience.

The Problem

(UNDERSTANDING)

Find a meaningful use case for a financial product that includes bank accounts, credit cards, and loan-matching tools in the U.S.

Partnerships must provide mutual value

Companies must invest heavily into implementation, so they need to see value in their own bank.

Competitors have similar banking AI features and recommendations so Banxx must stand out.

Overlooked healthcare finances drive patient defaults, coverage loss, and insurer revenue leakage.

People spend money on healthcare

After food, housing, and transportation, healthcare is the third-largest category of consumer spending over $4.9 trillion, representing 17.9% of GDP. Yet the financial tools supporting these expenses remain largely overlooked.

Ensurers are losing their customers

Every year, over 2 million Americans fail to renew their health insurance, not because they opt out, but because the process is confusing, financially overwhelming, or poorly supported.

Healthcare debt is a financial crisis

Healthcare debt is a major source of financial instability, accounting for over 62% of personal bankruptcies.

Savings are broken down into SMART goals to visualize progress, and explanations to motivate and maximize savings.

Using BANXX technology, loans are found and broken down. Intuitive adjustable terms allow patients to discover payment options that work best for them.

Straightforward reccomendations

Insurers have access to healthcare information, when combines with the AI analysis, useful widgets can be shown to guide patients into making smarter decisions.

Every app has a similar mobile navigation bar for a reason. While new layouts can be exciting, many design patterns exist because they’re intuitive, familiar, and reduce cognitive load.

Hierarchy brings things together

Big draws attention before small, bright stands out against dark. Hierarchy guides users through an interface, what matters most, what to do next, and how elements relate to one another
