With synced calendar reminders and intentionality built in, keeping memories shouldn’t take away from the moment.

HYPOTHESIS
Users prioritize documenting moments for others instead of fully experiencing them for themselves, weakening emotional connection and presence.

User Research
We interviewed 13 users through 20 minute long 1 on 1 sessions.
We crafted open-ended questions to find out how people typically experience and capture moments.

Memories are soft, glowing cores inspired by Inside Out, treating moments as emotional and living rather than static records.
Warm gradients, organic motion, and restrained UI elements create presence and intimacy, allowing memories to feel alive.

Connect your calendar account and select which event groups you want to be reminded for.
Using the circular slider you can choose when and whether to be reminded during and after your planned moments.
CREATING MEMORIES
Capture with intention
Users capture moments thoughtfully, layering a photo with sound and scent notes to build emotional context. Reflection is embedded into the experience, not added later.
To finalize the memory, users shake their phone to create a cœur, turning a fleeting moment into something deliberate and lasting.
REDISCOVER MOMENTS
An Interface for Remembering
Cœurs are stored in a circular chronological order, that can be viewed through a calendar view or searched.

The heart of the moment
Each core memory opens into a layered experience, blending imagery, ambient audio, and sensory cues to recreate how the moment once felt.
